Speaking to the Rural Ontario Municipal Association last month, Ontario Premier Doug Ford said he’s committed to working with Ottawa to ensure that “every part of our province … (has) the opportunity to share in our prosperity.”
For this reason, he’s getting behind better broadband service. There’ll be a new round of intakes for a rural economic development program, with the province covering up to half the cost of projects that will help attract investment and create jobs.
