The University of Guelph is a leader in research innovation. On campus, initiatives such as the CBaSE program exist to help foster entrepreneurial thinking and business development across disciplines, Now, a new effort is being launched to complement those opportunities. Starting in January, U of G students have access to a program called Accelerator Guelph that teaches participants how to turn their agri-food and biotech ideas into products and services. The program supports the heavy lifting required between the discovery and commercialization stages of new product development, transforming ideas into real-world impact.
