The recently revised Canada Food Guide gave two of Ontario’s key agricultural products – meat and milk – less support than it has in past, while likewise generalizing that manufactured food was a key source of Canadians’ obesity woes. It seems there are more “don’ts” than “dos” in this version, and it’s threatening to take some of the joy out of eating.
