The recent approval of a maximum residue limit for quinclorac was a great win for canola globally.  It was also a textbook example of researchers, industry and regulators working together through a rigourous approval process to achieve a mutually beneficial goal.  As of 2019, canola growers will be able to fight cleavers with an effective tool that has been universally accepted as safe, when used according to label directions.  This is good news across the sector, from growers to exporters.
