Along with some of my agricultural communications and SPARK students from the University of Guelph, I was fortunate to attend a presentation in Toronto by Syngenta Canada President Jay Bradshaw in which he outlined the value of the agri-food sector — along with the need for research and development — to a Bay Street audience. His address is the topic of my Urban Cowboy column in today’s Guelph Mercury. Jay’s speech is also posted on the Guelph Partnership for Innovation website.
